Ingredients

  • tender sweet corn
  • butter
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Strip husks down to the end of the cob, but do not tear off. Remove silk.
  2. If desired, soak in salted ice water to which 1/2 cup milk has been added for about 20 minutes; drain well.
  3. Brush the corn with softened butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Bring the husks up around the corn.
  5. Wrap each ear securely in a double thickness of aluminum foil.
  6. Twist the ends well.
  7. Barbecue on briquets for 10 minutes, turning once.
