Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Saute chopped onion in margarine until translucent.
  3. Prepare Jiffy cornbread mix according to package directions and pour into a greased pie plate.
  4. Spread cooked onion evenly over the top of the batter.
  5. Mix sour cream and grated cheese together and spread over the top of the onion layer.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 25 to 30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
