- Mix first seven ingredients and pat into a well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips and press them into the mixture.
- Beat egg whites until stiff and then add 1 cup brown sugar.
- Spread this over bottom layer.
- Bake at 325° for 35 minutes.
