Ham With Maple-Glazed Pineapple

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 - 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 cup canned pineapple chunk, drained and cut into smaller pieces
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon curry powder (use to taste)
  • 1 1/2 - 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) ham steaks, cut into serving-sized pieces

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet. Add pineapple, maple syrup, and curry powder. Cook over medium heat for about 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Add brown sugar; cook 1 minute or until sugar melts. .
  2. Cook ham in a separate skillet in a little butter or oil until nicely browned around the edges on both sides. Serve ham with pineapple on top.
