Hamburger Macaroni Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 box (8 oz.) elbow macaroni
  • 1/8 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1 c. bread crumbs, buttered
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook and drain macaroni.
  2. Lightly cook hamburger and onion until tender.
  3. Stir in soup, water, salt and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Remove from stove and stir in macaroni and cheese. Pour in casserole.
  6. Cover top with buttered bread crumbs.
  7. Bake at 350° about 20 minutes or until lightly brown.
