Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 1/4 cups unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 small apple, shredded
  • zest of one lemon
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup hard apple cider

Instructions

  1. Mix the wet and dry ingredients seperately, then combine.
  2. Bake at 350 for 40 - 50 minutes in a greased cake pan or loaf pan.
