Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons candy flavor
  • 2 to 3 drops food coloring

Instructions

  1. Set up molds and spray with Pam on foil.
  2. In a pot, combine water, corn syrup, and sugar, and stir lightly.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until it reaches 275° to 300°F on a candy-deep fry thermometer.
  4. Quickly remove from heat and add candy flavoring and food coloring drops.
  5. Pour the hot mixture into prepared molds immediately.
  6. Add seed to the hot mixture in the molds if desired.
  7. Allow the candies to set and cool before removing from molds.
