Ingredients

  • 8 whole cloves
  • 4 c. apple cider
  • 4 c. pineapple juice
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 cinnamon stick (3 inches)

Instructions

  1. Place cloves in a double thickness of cheesecloth; bring up corners of cloth and tie with kitchen string to form a spice bag.
  2. Place apple cider, pineapple juice, water, and the spice bag in a slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours or until the cider reaches the desired temperature.
  4. Remove and discard the spice bag, cinnamon stick, and tea bag before serving.
  5. Yields about 2 quarts.
