Ingredients

  • 4 containers (8 oz. each) fat-free plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Line a 6-inch strainer with a coffee filter or double thickness of cheesecloth.
  2. Place the strainer over a bowl.
  3. Combine the yogurt, chopped dill, salt, and chopped garlic in a bowl.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared strainer.
  5. Cover and let drain in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight until the cheese reaches desired consistency.
  6. Transfer the herbed yogurt cheese to a serving dish and serve.
