Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup hot water
  • dash of salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, salt, and cocoa in a saucepan.
  2. Add enough hot water to make a paste, then add the remaining water.
  3. Stir to eliminate lumps.
  4. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  5. Boil for 3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
