- Combine egg whites, egg yolks, grated orange zest, and orange juice.
- Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Lightly grease a baking sheet and mark 5-inch circles on the surface.
- Drop a spoonful of batter into each circle and spread evenly to cover the area.
- Bake one sheet at a time until edges are light brown and centers are soft, about 5 to 6 minutes.
- Quickly remove the cookies from the pan with a spatula and mold around an orange to create cup shapes.
- Allow the molded cookies to cool on a rack.
- Fill the hibiscus cups with fresh fruit, ice cream, or pudding.
