Ingredients

  • vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Poke a hole in the center of each biscuit and stretch to about a 3-inch diameter.
  2. Preheat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Fry the biscuits until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Drain on paper towels and coat with powdered sugar.
  5. Optional: add cinnamon, coconut, or nutmeg to the sugar for extra flavor.
