  1. Peel and cut potatoes into small, bite-sized pieces.
  2. Place potatoes in a pot and cover with water.
  3. Bring water to a boil and cook at medium temperature until potatoes are tender.
  4. Drain the water from the pot.
  5. Add 2 or 3 tablespoons of butter and a little milk to the potatoes.
  6. Add salt to taste and a dash of pepper.
  7. Use a mixer to blend until the potatoes are creamy.
