- Peel pears and lay them in a pan of water.
- Shred pears and add lemon juice.
- Put the shredded pears and lemon juice in a thick-bottomed pot.

- Boil for 20 minutes.
- Add the two boxes of Certo and boil for an additional 2 minutes.
- Seal the hot jelly in warm jars with boiled jar caps.
