Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 3 c. whole wheat flour
  • 3 c. white flour

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside.
  2. Scald milk.
  3. Add oleo, salt, and honey to the milk.
  4. Cool the mixture to lukewarm.
  5. Add yeast mixture to the cooled milk mixture.
  6. Add whole wheat flour to the mixture.
  7. Add white flour a cup at a time and knead until a soft dough forms.
