Honey Crunch Bars

Ingredients

  • 5 Tbsp. + 1 tsp. butter
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cans chow mein noodles
  • 1 can mixed nuts

Instructions

  1. Grease 9-inch square pan.
  2. Put butter, honey, brown sugar and cinnamon into 3-quart saucepan.
  3. Stir constantly; bring to a boil and boil 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in vanilla.
  6. Add noodles and stir.
  7. Add nuts.
  8. Put into square pan and press down. Let stand 1 hour before cutting.
  9. Cut into bars.
