Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 7 oz Spam, cut in strips
  • 1 can Hormel chunk chicken, drained and flaked
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sliced celery
  • 2 cups lettuce, torn in bite-size pieces

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, combine Italian dressing and sugar.
  2. Heat the mixture until it reaches a boil.
  3. Add the Spam strips to the skillet and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the drained and flaked chicken, heating through.
  5. Arrange torn lettuce on serving plates.
  6. Top with sliced hard-boiled eggs and sliced celery.
  7. Pour the hot dressing mixture over the salad just before serving.
