Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 qt. cranberry juice
  • 2 qt. unsweetened apple juice
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cloves

Instructions

  1. Put cranberry juice, apple juice, brown sugar, and salt in a large pot or coffee pot.
  2. Place cinnamon sticks and cloves in the top of a coffee maker.
  3. If using a large pot, tie the cinnamon sticks and cloves in a cloth for easy removal.
  4. Heat all ingredients slowly; simmer for up to 2 hours.
  5. Serve warm, ideal for Christmas or holiday festivities.
