Hot Dip(Makes 1 Dozen Pints)
A spicy, tangy hot pepper dip with bold flavors from bell peppers, hot peppers, garlic, and tomatoes, perfect for parties and gatherings needing a flavorful appetizer.

- Chop bell peppers, hot peppers, onions, garlic, and tomatoes and put in a large boiler.
- Add vinegar, sugar, and salt.
- Bring to a boil on medium heat and cook until the mixture tastes done, about 1 hour.
- Stir often as the mixture tends to settle to the bottom.
- Pour 1/2 pint of water and cornstarch into a small container and shake well.
- Add this mixture to the boiling mixture gradually, stirring until the mixture is thickened.
- Add hot sauce and catsup.
- Boil for about 30 minutes more, stirring often.
- Process in pint jars for 20 minutes.
