Ingredients

  • 5 cups ground hot red peppers
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 5 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground hot red peppers, vinegar, and sugar in a pot; bring to a boil and cook until the mixture reaches jelly temperature.
  2. Add the Certo liquid (pectin) to the mixture.
  3. Return the mixture to a boil and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  4. Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars, seal, and allow to cool.
