- Combine the ground hot red peppers, vinegar, and sugar in a pot; bring to a boil and cook until the mixture reaches jelly temperature.
- Add the Certo liquid (pectin) to the mixture.
- Return the mixture to a boil and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
- Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars, seal, and allow to cool.
