Ingredients

  • 36 hot peppers
  • 1 qt. yellow mustard
  • 1 qt. white vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 6 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Chop the hot peppers, including the seeds.
  2. In a large pot, combine the chopped peppers, yellow mustard, white vinegar, salt, and sugar.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. In a separate jar, combine 1 1/2 cups water with 1 1/2 cups flour and shake well until smooth.
  5. Add the flour mixture to the boiling pepper mixture.
  6. Bring to a boil again and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  7. Pour the hot mixture into sterilized canning jars following proper canning procedures.
