Warm and fragrant, this hot wine punch combines red wine, citrus juices, and spicy cloves and cinnamon for a cozy, festive drink perfect for gatherings and cold evenings.

Ingredients

  • 1 qt. red/burgundy wine
  • 2 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 4 cloves
  • 3 3-inch cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pan or percolator coffee pot.
  2. Heat the mixture until warm, but do not boil.
  3. Serve the punch warm in mugs.
  4. Store leftovers in the coffee pot and rewarm as needed.
