Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, cut in rings
  • 2 medium onions, cut in rings and separated
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup white vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a pan, combine dry mustard, sugar, celery seed, salt, white vinegar, and salad oil.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Pour the hot dressing over the cabbage, green peppers, and onions mixture.
  4. Chill for 4 hours before serving.
