Hungarian Cabbage Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. onion salt
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. garlic (may be omitted)
  • 2 tsp. sweet paprika
  • 3 lb. head cabbage
  • 2 large green peppers
  • 3 large carrots
  • 2 fresh pimentos or sweet red peppers

Instructions

  1. Clean and shred vegetables.
  2. Toss with dressing.
  3. Cover and let stand a few hours or overnight in refrigerator.
  4. Serves 10 to 12. It will stay about 8 days in Tupperware bowl in refrigerator.
