Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 sticks pure butter
  • 2 cups cake flour
  • 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Whip the butter until fluffy.
  2. Add sugar and beat well.
  3. Gradually add flour to the butter and sugar mixture.
  4. Add one egg at a time, beating well after each addition, then add the vanilla ice cream.
  5. Pour the batter into a prepared baking pan and bake in a preheated oven at 325°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
