Instructions
- Pound the mint leaves to a pulp.
- Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and pound again.
- Make a syrup by boiling 2 1/2 pints of water with the remaining sugar for 5 minutes.

- Add the lemon juice and mint pulp to the cooled syrup.
- Stir well together.
