Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 1 medium onion, grated
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. curry
  • 1/8 tsp. ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 lb. sirloin or boneless chicken breasts or pork, cut into 1-inch squares
  • mushroom caps
  • green pepper squares
  • quartered tomatoes
  • baby onions

Instructions

  1. Mix lemon juice, salad oil, salt, pepper, curry, ginger, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic in a shallow pan.
  2. Add meat and mushroom caps to the marinade.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours or longer, turning the meat occasionally.
  4. Thread the marinated meat, mushroom caps, green pepper squares, quartered tomatoes, and baby onions onto skewers.
  5. Grill until the meat is cooked through and vegetables are tender.
