Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 to 4 lb. chicken broiler/fryer, cut into pieces
  • paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. pure vegetable oil
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground mace
  • 2 Tbsp. raisins
  • 1`/2 c. uncooked rice

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle chicken lightly with paprika and brown in a pressure cooker in the oil.
  2. Combine all other ingredients and place alternate layers of chicken and combined ingredients in the pressure cooker, starting with chicken and finishing with rice.
