Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider using smoked ham or adding garlic powder to the sour cream mixture. If you're short on time, chopped rotisserie chicken can substitute for raw chicken breasts. This dish can also be adapted to include vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for added nutrition. Serve it with a side of steamed vegetables for a complete meal.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this dish over fluffy rice to soak up the creamy sauce, and consider pairing it with a light salad or steamed green beans for balance. A sprinkle of fresh parsley adds a pop of color and freshness. This recipe pairs beautifully with Lakeway Chicken Salad for a delightful meal spread.

Storage & Reheating

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the chicken and sauce in a baking dish, cover with foil, and warm in the oven at 250°F until heated through. Alternatively, microwave in short intervals, stirring occasionally for even heating.
