Jack County Fruit Cobbler

- Melt butter in sheet cake baking pan.
- If using frozen fruit, cook slowly for 30 minutes with 1 cup sugar.
- After cooking, you should have 1/2 to 1 cup juice.
- Do not drain.
- Pour fruit and juice over butter in pan.
- Mix sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and milk to make batter.
- Pour over fruit.
- Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar before baking.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes until slightly brown on top and cobbler mixture is firm.
