Jane'S Coconut Pie
Ingredients
Instructions
- Combine sugar, flour and salt in top of double boiler.
- Add milk and egg yolks, stirring until smooth.
- Cook over boiling water 5 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Add 1 cup coconut.
- Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.
- Pour into baked pie shell.
- Beat egg whites.
- Add sugar.
- Put on top of pie. Sprinkle with coconut.
- Brown in 350° oven.
