Ingredients

  • 2 to 2 1/2 lb beef cubes
  • pearl onions (fresh, drained canned, or frozen)
  • mushrooms
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the beef cubes over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
  3. Arrange the browned beef in a large casserole dish.
  4. Add pearl onions and mushrooms over the beef.
  5. Pour the cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom soup if no mushrooms are available) over the ingredients in the casserole dish.
  6. Cover the dish with a lid or aluminum foil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the beef is tender.
  8. Serve hot, garnished if desired.
