Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Microwave the butter in a custard cup on High until melted.
  2. Blend in the flour and salt until well combined.
  3. Heat the milk in a 1-quart measuring cup for 2 minutes and 30 seconds until almost boiling.
  4. Beat the hot milk into the flour mixture.
  5. Microwave on high for 2 minutes at power level 8 until thickened.
  6. Stir after one minute of cooking.
