Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef chuck
  • 1 to 2 lb. pork neck bones
  • 1 gal. water
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 stalks celery with leaves
  • 1/2 cup beef bouillon seasoning
  • 4 kernels garlic (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a large pan and bring to a boil.
  2. Turn heat down and simmer for 2 hours.
  3. Skim off fat and strain the broth.
  4. Save the meat for other uses.
  5. Store in the fridge for up to a week.
