Ingredients

  • 2 small packages strawberry Jell-O
  • 1 large package frozen strawberries
  • 1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
  • 3 small packages vanilla pudding (instant)

Instructions

  1. Bake the yellow cake in a sheet pan the night before and let it cool.
  2. Prepare the strawberry Jell-O by mixing with 2 cups boiling water and 8 ice cubes, then add frozen strawberries.
  3. Let the Jell-O mixture partially set before proceeding.
  4. Prepare the vanilla pudding as directed on the package and let it cool to room temperature.
  5. Slice the cooled cake into three layers.
  6. Layer the cake, Jell-O mixture, and pudding in a serving dish, repeating as needed to create a layered trifle.
