Ingredients

  • couple dozen eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 large box gelatin mixture
  • 1 package Knox gelatin

Instructions

  1. Break a 1/4-inch hole in the top of each eggshell.
  2. Drain the eggs and rinse the shells thoroughly.
  3. Submerge the shells in boiling water for a few seconds to sterilize.
  4. Prepare the gelatin mixture by dissolving one large box of gelatin in one cup of boiling water.
  5. Add two cups of cold water to the gelatin and stir.
  6. Let the mixture gel slightly until it thickens.
  7. Pour different colors of the gelatin mixture into the eggshells to create striped patterns.
  8. Refrigerate the filled eggs until the gelatin is fully set, preferably overnight.
