- Sauté the chopped onion in 2 tablespoons of butter until browned.
- Combine the onion, tomato catsup, Worcestershire sauce, prepared mustard, water, lemon juice, chopped celery, vinegar, brown sugar, salt, and pepper in a saucepan.
- Simmer all ingredients, except wieners, over low heat for 30 minutes.
- Place the wieners in a casserole dish.
- Pour the cooked sauce over the wieners.
- Bake in a slow oven at 350°F for 45 minutes.
