Ingredients

  • 2 lb. pork back ribs
  • 2 Tbsp. dried minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 4 tsp. ground thyme
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small jar with a tight-fitting lid, shake together all dry ingredients until well blended.
  2. Rub the dry mixture onto all surfaces of the ribs.
  3. Grill the ribs over indirect heat in a covered grill, turning occasionally, until very tender, about 1 1/2 hours, or roast in a 350°F oven for 1 1/2 hours.
  4. Cut into 1 or 2-rib portions to serve.
