Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon MSG
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, liquid smoke, MSG, and seasoned salt together.
  2. Marinate 1 1/2 pounds of meat, cut into strips with fat trimmed away, overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 140°F (60°C).
  4. Arrange the marinated meat strips on racks in the oven.
  5. Dry the meat in the oven for about 12 hours, keeping the oven door slightly open.
