Ingredients

  • 1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. Heinz barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Tabasco pepper sauce
  • garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Put butter in a shallow pan, about 7 x 9 inches.
  2. Add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, barbecue sauce, and Tabasco; heat until the butter is melted and the mixture covers the bottom of the pan.
  3. Place the peeled shrimp in the pan, adding garlic salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Place the pan in the oven under a broiler and broil for 10 to 12 minutes.
  5. Baste the shrimp at least twice during broiling, with the basting time not counted.
  6. Keep warm and serve with toothpicks or on pieces of French bread.
