Ingredients

  • 1 venison roast
  • 4 to 5 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 4 to 5 medium carrots, scraped and sliced
  • 1 to 2 large onions, cut into rings
  • 1 large jar yellow salad mustard

Instructions

  1. Coat the venison roast with yellow salad mustard and marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. Before cooking, scrape off as much mustard as possible without washing the meat.
  3. Place the roast, peeled and quartered potatoes, scraped and sliced carrots, onion rings, salt, pepper, diced garlic, and 1/2 cup of water in an oven cooking bag.
  4. Cook according to oven bag directions or as you would for any other roast.
