Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 8 medium apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 level teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a 9-inch Pyrex dish.
  2. Cook peeled and sliced apples in water and sugar until done.
  3. Pour the cooked apple mixture into the melted margarine in the dish.
  4. Distribute evenly over the bottom of the dish.
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon on top before serving.
