Ingredients

  • 1 c. self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. creamed corn

Instructions

  1. Combine the self-rising cornmeal, sour cream, salad oil, beaten eggs, salt, and creamed corn in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch square pan.
  3. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
