Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 pt. lukewarm water
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Set aside the dough until it doubles in bulk.
  2. After kneading, turn dough onto a floured board, roll out, and place on a large baking sheet.
  3. Cover with Strausseln Topping and let rise again.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.
