Ingredients

  • 1 envelope gelatin
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1/4 cup Kahlua
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Mix gelatin, sugar, and salt in a 2 1/2-quart saucepan.
  2. Stir in milk and chocolate pieces.
  3. Place over medium heat and stir constantly until gelatin is dissolved and chocolate is melted.
  4. Remove from heat and beat with a rotary beater until chocolate is blended.
  5. Stir in Kahlua and vanilla.
  6. Chill, stirring occasionally until mixture mounds slightly.
  7. Fold in whipped cream.
  8. Turn into a 4-cup mold.
  9. Chill until firm.
  10. Unmold and garnish with chocolate curls.
