- Thaw the pie crusts according to the package directions.
- Place one pie crust in the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan.
- Cube the potatoes and beef, and quarter the onion.
- Layer the potatoes, beef, and onion in the pie crust.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover with the second pie crust and vent with slits using a knife.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 to 1.5 hours until the potatoes are tender.
- Cover with foil if the crust becomes too brown before the potatoes are cooked.
