Ingredients

  • 1 lb. raw lean beef, cubed
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 3 to 4 potatoes, cubed
  • 2 (9-inch) pie crusts, prepared
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Thaw the pie crusts according to the package directions.
  2. Place one pie crust in the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan.
  3. Cube the potatoes and beef, and quarter the onion.
  4. Layer the potatoes, beef, and onion in the pie crust.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Cover with the second pie crust and vent with slits using a knife.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 to 1.5 hours until the potatoes are tender.
  8. Cover with foil if the crust becomes too brown before the potatoes are cooked.
