Ingredients

  • 1 c. cut up dates
  • 2 eggs, beaten slightly
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Heat dates, sugar, eggs and butter to boiling on low; boil for 2 minutes.
  2. Set aside to cool, then add Rice Krispies and nuts. In flat 9 x 12-inch pan, put 1/2 cup coconut; sprinkle over entire pan.
  3. Pour date mixture over this and sprinkle 1/2 cup more coconut over the top.
  4. Let cool and then enjoy!
