Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1/3 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a baking dish.
  3. Mix Bisquick and sugar in a bowl.
  4. Take 1/3 cup of liquid from the cherry pie filling and mix it with 1/3 cup water.
  5. Add the water mixture to the Bisquick and sugar mixture and stir until combined.
  6. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish.
  7. Spoon the cherry pie filling evenly over the batter.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Serve warm topped with ice cream or Cool Whip.
