Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking soda
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in syrup
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly mix flour, sugar, baking soda and salt.
  2. Add pineapple and eggs, stirring until well blended.
  3. Pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
  4. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  5. Allow to cool about 10 minutes.
  6. Make icing while cake is baking.
