Ingredients

  • 1 c. Cream of Wheat
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. cashew nuts
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 3 c. water
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter in the dish and fry cashews and raisins until the nuts are golden brown.
  2. Add the milk, water and salt.
  3. Bring it to a boil.
  4. (Optional:
  5. You might add food coloring.)
  6. Stir in Cream of Wheat little by little to avoid lumps.
  7. Add sugar and keep stirring for 2 minutes.
